Data processing

GRICAD provides a range of services to meet the needs of research communities in terms of data processing: analysis, mining, visualisation, etc.

The NOVA cloud computing platform

NOVA makes it possible to provide exclusive on-demand resources for one-off data processing, requiring dedicated resources. Users have complete control over the software stacks installed on their resources. Examples of use cases: data collection, analysis, deployment of the Jupyter notebook platform, training, web applications, etc.

NOVA provides on-demand resources for one-off specific uses.

Data processing partitions on supercomputers

On supercomputing platforms, partitions are dedicated to different uses that go beyond the initial scope of supercomputers and are aimed more at those who want to exploit the data: e.g. long analysis (several days), need for large amounts of RAM.

Jupyter notebooks at GRICAD

Jupyter notebooks are a very commonly used interface for analysing data. GRICAD provides a set of services to run them.

The ELI data platform

Eli is a data mining platform built on dedicated servers to easily create and share multiple high-performance instances of the Elasticsearch/Logstash/Kibana (ELK) stack for research projects and GRICAD infrastructure monitoring. To find out more about this platform, please go here.

If you are interested in creating an instance of ELI, please contact us by sending an email to this address.
