The Open Science service at GRICAD coordinates both the Grenoble Alpes Data and Code Unit and the 2nd axis of the GATES project.

The Grenoble Alpes Data and Code Unit (CDGA)

The GATES project

GATES (Grenoble ATtractiveness and ExcellenceS) is a project led by the University of Grenoble Alpes. It has been awarded funding under the ExcellencES call for proposals launched by France 2030. The project is partnership-based and aims to enhance the university’s attractiveness and competitiveness. GRICAD is leading the ‘Data’ section, which focuses on research data. As part of this mission, GRICAD has set up a team of engineers to develop code and software for collecting, processing, storing, visualising and presenting research data in the humanities and social sciences.
