Data Management and Codes
The Open Science service at GRICAD coordinates both the Cellule Data Grenoble Alpes and the 2nd axis of the GATES project.
The Cellule Data Grenoble Alpes
Its mission is to:
- Sensitize and train on research data and software management (challenges, best practices, tools, and resources)
- Respond to scientists’ inquiries about the entire lifecycle of research data and research codes. This site is also here to help you. For all your questions: sos-data[at]univ-grenoble-alpes.fr and sos-codes-recherche[at]univ-grenoble-alpes.fr
- Lead the network of laboratory data referents
- Build and share a knowledge base on topics related to research data and codes
- Conduct legal and technical monitoring
- Participate in national, European, and international initiatives
The GATES Project
GRICAD leads the 2nd axis of the GATES project “Attraction and Excellence at Université Grenoble Alpes,” labeled under the France 2030 Excellence call for projects. This data axis is dedicated to managing research data in Humanities and Social Sciences (SHS). GRICAD hosts a transverse team of 7 engineers over 8 years, whose mission is to enhance the attractiveness of SHS by leveraging cutting-edge AI and data science technologies.
