May 27, 2026
The Code Data Grenoble Alpes (CDGA) Office and GRICAD are launching a podcast series to explore the various facets of open science, whether from the perspective of publications, data, or research code and software.
Based on feedback from research projects and support services, SO Cast is aimed at anyone interested in open science and current trends in research practices.
In this first episode, Helle Pedersen (physicist at OSUG and researcher at ISTerre, head of the Epos-France Seismological Data Center) shares the global seismology community’s 40-year commitment to producing open data, as well as the lessons learned and the importance of this open data and its standardization for understanding Planet Earth.
