Abstract: The Guix-Science project is a community project that aims to provide a comprehensive software catalog for the scientific community, in collaboration with the administration teams of computing centers that use or provide Guix, with the goal of pooling efforts in packaging and maintaining package definitions. The purpose of this session is to present the project and provide some tips on how to start contributing.
Café Guix is a place and time for informal, French-speaking discussions about the Guix software environment manager. Students, researchers, system administrators, IT support staff from labs or computing centers — everyone is welcome at this monthly one-hour meeting where we will discuss questions brought by everyone about Guix and its use in a broad sense.
