In order to be part of an international dynamic and raise the profile of its activities in the field of free software, the University of Grenoble Alpes is inaugurating its Open Source Program Office.
Software is a pillar of research alongside publications and data. All scientific disciplines are involved in software development, and most of the code produced by research laboratories is open source.
For several years, the University of Grenoble Alpes has been involved in supporting scientific communities around free software through the Codes Data Grenoble Alpes (CDGA) Office. The inauguration will take place in the amphitheatre of the IMAG building on the Saint Martin d’Hères campus.
