Café Guix - Installing and using software easily and reproducibly with Guix

The Guix cafés are back this year with a first session led by Pierre-Antoine Bouttier, UAR GRICAD, on this link.
If you find the world of software environments difficult to access, but want to conduct your digital experiments in as reproducible a framework as possible, this session is for you. We’ll take a look at the Guix software environment manager, compared to what you may know, and then take a very practical look at how to use it with just a few commands, which can be counted on the fingers of one hand.
As a reminder, Café Guix is a place and time for informal, French-speaking exchange around the Guix software environment manager. Students, researchers, system administrators, IT support staff from labs or computer centers - everyone is welcome to join us for this one-hour monthly meeting, where we can discuss questions raised by everyone about Guix and its use in the broadest sense.
