28/11/2019 : Computing History Day
The 80th anniversary of the CNRS encourages us to
take the time to apprehend and understand the
evolutions that have led to the current computing
landscape. The theme is broad, it is also very transverse
and has its origin well before the emergence of the computer.
The arrival of computer technology and its
rapid development has profoundly changed our
perception of computing.
The objective of this day is to approach this history from different
angles, from applied mathematics to the link with
computer science and intensive computing.
It took place on 28 November 2019, in
Grenoble, Saint Martin d'Hères campus,
at IMAG
building.
The presentation materials and videos are on line .
20/11/2019 : Archivage numérique des
données de recherche
GRICAD and the SARI network (computer
specialists) organized on Wednesday 20 November 2019
a
day dedicated to the digital archiving of research
data .
In the morning, this day was an opportunity to
clarify the notion of digital data archiving in the
data life cycle, to present the regulatory and legal
context and the challenges to be taken up on the
perinnization of research data and their
governance.
The afternoon was devoted to the presentation of
archiving platforms as well as feedback from
different disciplines.
The presentation materials are
on line .
5/11/2019 : GRICAD users day
On November 5, 2019, the GRICAD Users'Day took place
at the
IMAG
building.
This day is organized by the
GRICAD users' committee .
The presentation materials are on line .
The Grenoble (GRICAD) and Toulouse (CALMIP)
mesocentres co-organized a training day on the
issue of Data Management Plans and the life cycle of research data.
All the information and support on the day's website.
From 13/11/2018 to 11/04/2019 : Scientific Computing Training for doctoral college
Within the framework of the College of Doctoral
Schools and MaiMosSiNE several "computing"
courses are available in which GRICAD is heavily
involved. They are mainly intended for doctoral
students but also (limited number of places...)
for researchers/engineers from Grenoble research
institutes.
All information and support on the site.
